If you drive out to the west coast of Ireland through the beautiful green Kerry countryside and continue west onto Valentia Island then a bit further west down old rocky drovers roads you will come to a pub. O'Sheas. The most westerly pub in the British Isles.
Standing alone in stone scattered fields the pub is quiet now. No songs sung or pints drawn and the gable end proudly announces 'Next Pint New York'. That may be true but no pints have ever been drawn in O'Sheas. It's a ghost pub built for a Guinness advert. But it makes a lovely photo op.
And here's the advert from 2006.
