Karakol Livestock Market

Every week there is a huge livestock market in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan. Local farmers bring sheep, goats and cows but mostly horses to the market to sell. Horses are sold for their meat or milk (fermented mare's milk is a very popular drink) and for Kok Boro (the national polo game).
